November 2025: Remembrance Sunday
In preparation for Remembrance Sunday, residents came together to create beautiful poppy wreaths and decorations. This meaningful activity provided an opportunity for residents to share memories, reflect, and connect with one another, deepening the sense of community here at The Old Vicarage. October 2025: Spooky Fruity Treats for Halloween!
Residents helped to make some delicious spooky fruity Halloween treats for all to enjoy. For many of our residents, marking Halloween is a treasured link to their family’s Halloween traditions. Taking part in such activities transports them back to the warmth of family gatherings, bringing comfort and joy.


October 2025: Celebrating “Apple Day” with a Sip and Paint session
The humble apple was the centre of our celebrations at The Old Vicarage as we marked the fruit’s national day. Residents tasted lots of different varieties of apples and enjoyed fresh apple juice whilst painting.


September 2025: International Day of Charity – a visit to our local Cancer Research shop
Residents celebrated International Day of Charity with a visit to The Cancer Research Shop in St Neots Town Centre with a donation of jigsaws, vases, board games and clothes before heading off to the Market Square to enjoy an ice cream together in the sunshine. The day is a global reminder of how every act of giving, no matter how big or small, has the potential to change lives, uplift communities, and create a ripple effect of hope.
