The Old Vicarage is a private home, owned by myself Emma Khanna. My family have been in the care industry since 1987.
I purchased the home because I wanted to make a difference. Older people so often don’t get the quality of care they deserve. I am determined to provide the highest quality of care and facilities while employing caring, passionate staff. Our ethos at The Old Vicarage is to provide an intimate, home from home feeling, with homely comforts for all of our residents to enjoy.

​We pride ourselves on having quickly established an excellent reputation in the local community as being a first rate provider of residential care for the elderly since taking over the home over in 2018. Our staff are ably assisted by Tracey, our Registered Manager and Hayley, our Deputy Manager. The team work closely together to provide a high standard of support and personal care to our residents around the clock. We employ staff in sufficient numbers and with the relevant mix of skills to meet the needs of our residents. We observe recruitment policies and practices, which both respect equal opportunities and protects our residents’ safety and welfare. We are committed to the continuous development of our staff, investing in training to expand their knowledge and skills, ensuring the best care is provided to our residents.
