The Old Vicarage Care Home provided a much needed day care facility for my father twice a week. The staff are extremely caring, taking the time to get to know my father in order to be able to give him the care, respect and attention he needed. It took him a while to settle in due to his dementia and Alzheimer's however the patience of the staff and their ability to encourage him to get involved in activities is a testament to the high level of care they provide. Being able to see him joining in with activities on the social media platform was a lovely way to understand what he had being enjoying whilst he was there as he was unable to communicate this verbally to us. As a family we can not thank all the staff enough for looking after him the way they did during his time there.

I just wanted to thank you and your staff for all the loving care and kindness you showed Rita during her time at The Old Vicarage. You all truly cherished her and made her feel safe and happy. She often described you as "angels" when talking about you. Also, I am personally very grateful for the wise advice and guidance you and your ladies gave me over the years. God bless you all.

The Old Vicarage is a beautiful old building with nice views either overlooking the main church in St Neots or their large garden, in a quiet road off the high street. My late mum who had dementia had been a day guest at The Old Vicarage one day a week, for a year before needing to become a permanent resident. I had been used to overseeing her care at home but in her new home she was in safe hands with their manager, deputy manager and all of the staff. Mum fitted in well with the other residents and liked to sit in their quieter lounge. She took part in the activities and loved their little dog. I can't thank the carers enough for the care and attention they gave mum. We were particularly touched how much love they showed her when she was passing. Your loved one will become part of The Old Vicarage family if they move here.

My mother has lived at The Old Vicarage for 2.5 years now and the care and compassion has been excellent. All the staff are considerate of Mother's needs, yet seem to be able to gain her cooperation in a loving manner as I never could. Because the home is fairly small, it has a lovely atmosphere and I can visit anytime either in Mum's room, in the garden or borrowing a wheelchair to take her out. Very happy with Mum's care and dreading the day that she may need to move into a nursing home.

In the last few weeks no one could have wished for a more dedicated and caring team. I have experienced end of life care in care homes and in hospital and I have never seen so much compassion and commitment to making someone comfortable whilst respecting their dignity as I have witnessed recently and also letting them know they were not alone and much loved. They were quite simply amazing and a credit to you. I feel sure you are aware but what you offer at The Old Vicarage is quite unique. I say this as a person who has had various family members in different care homes over the years. A small number of residents and a relatively consistent staffing team really does promote a family feel. I have been able to come and go and feel that when I have seen those team members at work it is never for show as a family member is visiting as sometimes they may not have known I was even in the building. Your team are quite simply wonderful, caring and compassionate.

A fantastic care home! Provided a high level of care and support. Friendly, welcoming and loving carers, both to the service user and all the family. Always there to help and listen. Clean, great food, just amazing all around!

My mother was under the care of the Old Vicarage Care Home for 10 months before she passed away, recently. The home is very well managed with the care of its residents always a priority. When you enter the building, there is immediately a sense of it being a homely place. It was always spotlessly clean. The food was excellent and perfectly suited to its residents with good home cooking, the sort of food which they would have been used to at home. There was always a good range of activities on offer to keep the residents occupied and stimulated. My mother's bedroom was clean and comfortable but did not feel like a hotel bedroom and there was plenty of room to put personal things. The staff in the home were very caring and were able to provide any equipment to improve comfort and care. I could not fault any aspect of the care which my mother received in the Old Vicarage Care Home.
