Residents and staff came together to mark Holocaust Memorial Day with a meaningful time of reflection and remembrance. As part of the commemoration, residents created beautiful white roses, symbolising peace, hope, and remembrance for those who suffered during the Holocaust and subsequent genocides.
The occasion also included a moving prayer, beautifully read by Frances, which encouraged everyone to reflect on the importance of compassion, understanding, and standing against prejudice in all its forms.
It was a thoughtful and respectful event, providing an opportunity for residents to remember the past, honour those affected, and reaffirm the values of kindness, dignity, and respect that are so important in our community.
