Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings in style with a wonderful garden party and a homemade sweet shop with resident's favourite treats to enjoy!

We are so fortunate to be placed within walking distance to the centre of town and to be able to enjoy the wonderful river and park particularly on such sunny days!

Our Book Club continues to go from strength to strength! Residents enjoy meeting to read and discuss the chosen book of the month and it is also a space to enjoy conversation and the company of others.

Residents enjoyed a wonderful morning of flower arranging. This is a super activity to engage the senses, improve motor skills and instil a sense of independence and accomplishment.

Volunteers from St Neots Museum came to visit us with items from the 1920's. The residents thoroughly enjoyed trying clothes on and talking about old jewellery, knitting patterns, hats and theatre binoculars. It was wonderful to reminisce!

Our green fingered residents enjoyed the lovely Spring sunshine today and spent some time out in the courtyard planting some beautiful Summer bedding plants in to pots and troughs. Gardening is such a wonderful activity for our residents as it promotes mental well-being as well as giving a little bit of gentle exercise, strengthening bones, muscles and joints.

Our residents enjoyed Easter arts and crafts in the run up to Easter weekend. They coloured in Easter egg designs in bright colours and a Happy Easter sign to put up in the home to greet our visitors. Also a few residents chose to make some beautiful cards to send off to family members. Easter fun was had by all over the bank holiday weekend including gardening, reminiscing about Easter in the past and of course a visit from the Easter bunny! Residents enjoyed the nice sunny

Christina and Pat enjoyed a walk to the local river last week, accompanied by Yvette, to feed the ducks and then stopped for coffee and cake in the warm Spring sunshine. We are so fortunate to be situated so close to the town centre, which is just a short walk away, for residents to visit and enjoy whenever they wish.

Our residents had stacks of fun celebrating Shrove Tuesday by making and decorating pancakes with Yvette, our Activities Co-Ordinator this morning. Toppings included fresh fruit, Belgian chocolate sauce, golden syrup, ice cream and of course good old fashioned lemon and sugar. Residents really enjoyed tucking in to their tasty treats. The pancakes brought back memories of their childhoods and the residents laughed as they shared stories about disastrous pancake-tossing moment
